Location
Guests may purchase lift tickets to both Alta and Snowbird on site at Snowpine Lodge. Located at the Albion Base of Alta Ski Resort, the property is within walking distance to some restaurants and shops and a 6 minute drive to Snowbird Ski Resort.

Getting Around
A car is not necessary once at the resort as everything you need is within walking distance. The property offers a shuttle for guests in the winter to anywhere in Alta (general store, snowbird, etc.). Alternatively, if you feel like exploring the town and other ski resorts, the Utah Ski Bus provides complimentary ski busses for Utah Ski Pass holders or for $5 one-way for non-pass holders. The bus travels between the town and Alta-Snowbird ski resort (Route 953 and 994) or Solitude-Brighton ski resort (Route 972). The closest pickup location is right outside the property. If you're driving to the resort, a 4x4 car is recommended. The UDOT traction laws can go into effect at any time due to winter snow conditions. Uber, Lyft or Taxi are also available. however the Alta Shuttle is recommended for a seamless airport travel day experience. Be aware of interlodge during the snowy season as you may not be able to drive down the canyon if there is risk of an avalanche.
