Challenge Level
There's a good mix of terrain for beginners and intermediates thanks to their exceptional grooming while the Huckleberry Canyon serves up powder-filled bowls, epic steeps, drops, and cliffs. The tree skiing is also some of the best in Tahoe Basin making it suitable for more experienced skiers and riders.

Blizzard Mountain and Thunder Gulch is where you find some of Sierra at Tahoe's activities:

The base areas at Sierra offer a variety of great dining options making it easy to grab a bite. The outdoor plaza though is the spot to be for après ski with fire pits to warm up and rest up.
Accessibility
Located south of Lake Tahoe, Sierra at Tahoe is easy to get to by car from Sacramento and Bay Area and is quicker to reach than other Lake Tahoe resorts. Alternatively Reno-Tahoe airport is just 1.5 hours away.

When To Go
As Sierra at Tahoe Resort is located slightly further away than other resorts, it has smaller crowds throughout the season. However, to avoid holiday goers, steer clear of travelling during December and over Martin Luther King weekend and President's Day weekend.
