Snowbird Restaurants Closed

All Snowbird restaurants are run by the resort, but they offer a variety of menu options to suit any budget and appetite.

On the Mountain

Mid Gad: The restaurant services burgers, sandwiches, salads and soups as well as snacks if you just need a quick bite before getting back at it. Despite its mid-mountain location, Mid Gad doesn’t usually get crowded, so it can be a relaxed place to recharge, especially with its good selection of beer.

Summit: On the top of Hidden Peak, The Summit is Snowbird’s newest restaurant and your chance to eat at 11,000 ft. The menu includes pizzas, paninis, salads, sandwiches, and snacks. There are two floors of tables inside with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive vistas, or if the weather’s nice you can eat on the patio outside and take in the hundred mile view with your lunch.

Off the Mountain

Creekside Cafe: Creekside Café is located in the Creekside lodge, open for breakfast and lunch. Fresh baked goods and breakfast sandwiches are available in the morning, with burgers, chilli, hot dogs and calzones on the menu for midday.

Rendezvous: Rendezvous is a self-service cafeteria-style restaurant open for lunch, with ramen and rice bowls in addition to burgers, sandwiches, and a salad and pasta bar (great for vegetarians!).

Forklift: The Forklift offers À la carte breakfast and lunch along with beer, wine, and cocktails (OK, maybe not with breakfast...). The blueberry pancakes and specialty omelets are especially popular, and in addition to soups, sandwiches and burgers, there’s always a Blue Plate Special at lunch.

Tram Car Pizza: You can get handmade pizza (whole or by the slice) and hot sandwiches at Tram Car Pizza, to either eat in or take with you. Fuel up on pizza and hop back onto the slopes right away.

Steak Pit: For dinner, be sure to get reservations at the Steak Pit restaurant for steaks, seafood, and even vegetarian options with a large wine and beer list.

Atrium: In the Cliff Lodge, the Atrium serves a breakfast buffet as well as grab-and-go options, and is also open for lunch.

El Chanate: If you're on the lookout for inexpensive Mexican cuisine, head over to El Chanate. Here you will find a tequila bar that offers après specials and a patio for when the weather is nice.

Lodge Bistro: Check out the Lodge Bistro’s French and American food and lounge (popular enough that reservations are a good idea). The restaurant puts off an intimate setting with incredible sunset and mountain views.

Après Ski

Snowbird isn’t known for its hopping nightlife, but there are still a few places to put back a few drinks with your friends at the end of the day and relive your adventures.

Tram Club: The Tram Club in Snowbird Centre has 13 big screen TVs, pool, darts, foosball, and sports themed décor with a view of the tram bullwheels. There’s live music Thursday through Sunday, and it stays open later than any bar in the canyon (Midnight on Friday and Saturday, 11:00 pm the rest of the week). The picnic tables at the tram deck upstairs are also popular for end-of-day revelry, and sometimes there’s live music out there, too.

The Aerie: Located on the 10th floor, The Aerie feast on the incredible view through its enormous windows as well as the gastro-pub cuisine. In addition to its dining, the Aerie Lounge offers live entertainment and a glowing fireplace. It’s a bit more upscale, but can still get vibrant! And, again, there’s that view to drink in, too…

Wildflower Lounge: Enjoy pizza and Italian food in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The The Wildflower lounge in Iron Blosam is popular despite being a bit out of the way (unless you’re staying there, of course). Its informal vibe, billiards, and specials on Buffalo wings make it a favourite of locals and returning visitors.

If you’re willing to drive out for food, we’ve done a write up of après ski options available next door in Alta and Salt Lake City.
