With a motto like 'Ski it if you can', Mad Glen River offers a unique skiing experience and not only because of its gnarly terrain which offers everything from narrow winding trails to a frozen waterfall to huck off! The skiers-only mountain is a co-operative owned and managed by skiers who shred here, providing a real local mountain experience. It's famous single chairlift is iconic to the ski resort and shouldn't be missed!

Awesome throw-back mountain. When the conditions are right, this one is tough to beat. No frills but just down right good skiing. People are friendly and since it is up north and off the beaten path a bit the crowds are minimal.

Steeps are never groomed and the woods are always open so you get a more traditional ski experience.

Between the natural snow, the challenging and gladed terrain, the relaxed attitude and the type of skier's it attracts (skills, not show), it can't be beat!

It's the most uniquie ski resort on the east cost. It sets itslef apart with extreme train and old school infrastructure. I hope they don't change a thing.

Great terrain, natural snow, no grooming, empty trails, long runs for the east, good woods.
